Impartiality at bluesign:
bluesign technologies ag, an SGS company, understands the importance of impartiality and potential conflicts of interest in carrying out its range of testing, inspection, and certification services. Impartiality is defined as ‘not having prejudice towards or against any particular side or party.’ bluesign/SGS undertakes to act impartially in relation to interactions with all of our clients/customers and other stakeholders.

An Impartiality Advisory Commitee IAC is established to ensures a balanced representation of significant internal and external stakeholders for safeguarding impartiality. The IAC members provide expertise to advice bluesign Management Team on policies, principles, operations and risks on impartiality.
Complaint & Appeal Process:
Processing complaints / appeals is an integral part of bluesign’s clients relations and assurance of customer satisfaction. The process is open for companies, individuals or other stakeholders who want to raise a complaint concerning certified products, bluesign services, misuse of bluesign trademarks or others. It is also applicable in the case of an appeal against bluesign decision. Complaints are handled within a reasonable timescale and as transparently as possible, whilst fully respecting principles and requirements of confidentiality and impartiality and will not result in any discriminatory actions.
