bluesign Recognized in ZDHC Supplier to Zero Programme
We are pleased to announce that bluesign has received official recognition within the ZDHC Supplier to Zero (StZ) Programme – a significant milestone in aligning industry efforts to promote safer chemistry and responsible manufacturing.
The bluesign Company Assessment for supplier facilities, which includes comprehensive on-site assessments and stringent criteria for chemical management and environmental performance, is now officially acknowledged as a Recognized Scheme under the ZDHC StZ Programme.
What This Recognition Means for bluesign System Partner Manufacturers:
- Level 1 – Fully Recognized
bluesign System Partner facilities are eligible to claim Level 1 recognition at no additional cost (voucher provided by bluesign).
- Level 2 – Conditionally Recognized
Facilities may claim Level 2 recognition by submitting valid ClearStream and Performance InCheck Reports via the ZDHC Supplier Platform. A standard transactional fee applies, as per ZDHC policies.
As of now, bluesign System Partner facilities can directly claim their recognition through the ZDHC Supplier Platform.
This recognition streamlines compliance pathways for bluesign System Partner manufacturers already operating at high standards, reducing duplication of efforts and minimizing assessment fatigue. It also reinforces the broader industry movement toward greater alignment and efficiency in sustainable manufacturing practices.
Further guidance will be shared shortly to support partners in navigating the next steps.
