Revised Criteria for bluesign® PRODUCT – Stakeholder consultation

We revised the document “Criteria for bluesign® PRODUCT” which describes the requirements for the bluesign B2C label. The deadline to comment on our “Criteria for bluesign® PRODUCT” document is the 28th of April.

Main reasons for the revisions are:
·         to define specific requirements for denim products
·         to include footwear in the bluesign B2C label
·         to be more specific on the scope of the B2C label and therefore to define product categories (apparel, equipment, denim, home textiles and footwear)
·         to improve the communication of safe & sustainable claims
 
Regarding apparel and equipment only marginal changes had been done compared to the previous version of the criteria. If you are interested to be involved in our stakeholder consultation process please contact the bluesign® ACADEMY (academy@bluesign.com)
